Google bought this program in 2004, and has made huge improvements.

This excellent program combines a very fancy photo viewer with a basic photo editor to give users a simple and enjoyable way of managing, editing and viewing their digital photo collections.It contains basic tools for straightening, cropping and removing red eye, and a few other simple editing tasks and effects.One of the best new features is Web Albums. This lets you quickly post original photos to the web.

Using your browser, you can then organise your images, view them as slideshows, add captions, and send email invites to view the images. Alternatively, you can make public galleries for anyone to view and post comments, hosted for free by Google.
